Isaac knowingly blesses Jacob with Abraham’s covenant blessing and sends him to his mother’s family, while Esau responds by adding another wife.
After the deception is exposed, Isaac does not withdraw the covenant blessing. Genesis 28 shows him knowingly blessing Jacob, sending him away from a Canaanite marriage, and naming Abraham’s promise over him; Esau notices his parents’ disapproval and adds Ishmael’s daughter as another wife, though the text does not call his action repentance.
